2008 |
Hawthorne Bluberry - A Cristal De somme daughter out of
Naguere De fond De Bois. John Mawer, Hawthorne Blues, bred Blueberry
and had some outstanding results with her in the show ring as a
junior heifer. We calved her in december, calving a naturally born
heifer by Dafydd D'ochain.

| January
16th 2009 saw us trekking up to carlisle to the Bringlee
Sale. After going round and round the stalls, we narrowed our choice
down to about four animals. Finally we won the bid on a cracking
bull calf called Dash. He is out of the great cow
Sandy and by Flash D'izier, he was born in june 2008 and we are
sure he is going to be a great addition to our herd. |
May
15th 2009 We were back at Carlisle
and were very chuffed to be bringing home Pendle Dazzle, a 13 month
old, well grown black and white heifer by Bluestone Union Jack and
out of Pendle Witch. Dazzle
had been shown by Mark and Elaine Hartley winning reserve female
champion at Borderway Agri Expo 2008 and reserve female champion
at Borders calf show 2009.
